The Truths

or little lessons learned on the mommy job.

Schedules matter.

What you allow one night or two, quickly becomes a habit and hard to undo.

Plan 15-30 magically disappearing mystery minutes.

Mommies need play dates, too.

Mommies need a mommy time management system.

Have courage to master the struggle.

Kids need free, unorganized play time.

Feed kids food that’s close to the earth. (Save kid-friendly food like chicken nuggest for emergencies.)

Everything we do sets an example.

Kids want what they can’t have.

Change pediatricians if you’re not completely satisfied with your current one.

Sometimes, it’s okay to fudge the fact with your (young) kids.

You can’t quit the mommy job (sorry).
